Hot Plasma

Perhaps, besides AI, the hottest tech innovation in the news recently is our progress on cold fusion reactors. Well over 100 million degrees C hot, in fact. Being able to turn abundant hydrogen into essentially limitless energy with no greenhouse gases would indeed be cool. Cold? Anyway. Fun fact at the end.

End User: A desperate tech CEO about to have his company shut down after he's tried everything to get this damn reactor working. Well... except one thing...

Fun Fact

On the topic of large tubes where crazy physics happens, quite some time ago a scientist figured the best way to be sure there was nothing in their malfunctioning particle accelerator was let a ferret (Felicia) run through the tubing. Well, that she did. I've owned ferrets in the past and this is not at all shocking to me. They're literal predators so the idea of running through a gigantic steel tube with no particular incentive seems right up their alley. In this case a miles long one. They fear nothing.
